(United Kingdom).- 1xBet is set to sponsor this year’s Betting on Football, which will be 6th edition of the international sports betting trade conference. The event is due to take place from the 19-22 March at Stamford Bridge.
In the run up to this year’s Betting on Football, SBC caught up with Evgenii Kiriushin, the Head of Business Development at 1xBet, who discussed the plans to showcase 1xBet’s new sportsbook and the increased use of mobile betting applications.
What are you looking forward to at Betting on Football?
Networking. We are hoping to meet new people with whom we can develop long-term, productive partnerships.
What are you promoting at Betting on Football?
Firstly, our Sportsbook. We are one of the exhibition’s headline sponsors and we’re sure that this will significantly raise awareness of our brand. At the exhibition, we’ll also be presenting the platform that powers our services – visitors will be able to find out more about it at our stand.
What industry innovation will capture the most attention in 2019?
Actually, the seeds for what we predict will be this year’s most anticipated innovations were sown a long time ago. These days, more and more customers are choosing to access online betting through their mobile devices, so the main aim is to provide the best possible services to those customers. This is why we expect to see a strong focus on developments for mobile devices across the industry in 2019.
Do you expect speed of innovation to slow in the absence of a major football tournament?
On the contrary – we think companies will value this time before the next big sporting event and use it effectively, so that when the next big tournament arrives they’ll be able to present products that are on a whole new level. We certainly will!
How can betting and football stakeholders work together more effectively?
Sponsorship is very effective for this – it helps to develop football as a game, whilst increasing interest in the sport.
Which parts of the conference agenda have caught your eye?
There are so many things on this year’s agenda that we’re looking forward to! It’s hard to narrow it down, but here are our top 3:
- Global Markets Track – thanks to the internet, more and more companies are able to operate globally. We keep track of global market developments with a keen interest.
- Sponsorship Forum – sponsoring football clubs and federations is a key feature of our marketing strategy.
- Betting on Innovation – we’re proud to say that 1xBet won the SBC Rising Star in Sports Betting Innovation award this year. We plan to continue to follow tech news and integrate new technology into our services.
