(United Kingdom).- Betcom, part of the Gauselmann family of UK-facing brands which also includes Blueprint Operations, Regal Gaming and Praesepe, has confirmed a pipeline of at least ten new games through to the second half of 2020. The commitment covers Single Site Cat C, AGC, FEC and Bingo and includes both Betcom’s traditional analogue AWPs as well as exciting new developments within the digital gaming space.
Outlining the brand’s expanding footprint in UK gaming, Betcom’s Managing Director, Simon McCarthy said: “We are navigating what is a dynamic gaming landscape and I am delighted at the progress that we have made and will continue to make beyond ACOS, EAG and ICE London into the middle of 2020. While protecting our position as the market leading supplier of analogue AWPs we are also applying the fantastic creative talent that exists within the Betcom team to niche markets within the UK market place. This process is being accelerated thanks to the assistance from our colleagues at Gauselmann brands Regal and Praesepe who as the respective market leaders in pub and AGC are able to provide unique and detailed insight to the dominant trends and player characteristics."
Betcom has achieved huge success in the Single Site sector with the quartet of games, comprising Casino Crazy, Slots O Gold, The Chase and Wild West selling ‘extremely well’ in the first half of the year. Good Feathers, is currently in production with a further three games scheduled for release in the build up to the important Pre-Xmas injection, comprising the Chase brands as well as a yet to be announced release that McCarthy believes will be a major talking point for the industry. Betcom is also utilising its relationship with sister company Blueprint with Simon McCarthy confirming that the strategy of taking the successful Blueprint IP used on digital and applying it across onto Analogue is 'continuing to deliver excellent cash box returns.'
Having entered the AGC, FEC and Bingo sectors, a process which began 18-months ago, Betcom has built a portfolio of product that's being operated across the UK and in particular within the Praesepe estate. Betcom’s product offering ranges from three player multiplayers, Luck O The Irish Over The Rainbow (LOTI) and King Kong Cash to single player units LOTI Tic tac Toe, all of which offer the latest game formats complete with TiTo, as well as the most advanced peripheral devices on the market. The Betcom team has also developed Analogue Community Gaming in the form of the highly successful Genie Jackpots Community.
Betcom’s involvement in the digital space includes game releases utilising a high quality videocabinet housing the reliable Project PC platform. Simon McCarthy explained: “We have currently got a four game compendium of Cat C Lite/Cat D Project games on site, comprising the hugely successful poker themed titles, Jacks or Better, Joker Poker, Find The Lady Top 10 and Chase The Ace No Limits. In addition we are about to site test a six game compendium under the Star Slots brand. This is just the start of what is an exciting R&D plan which will run alongside the ongoing developments within the Betcom portfolio."
