(London).- IGT PlayDigital spoke to the product director behind its new and innovative jackpot, to find out more about this incredible opportunity.

´Quick Pay Jackpots is different from existing Jackpot products in the market´

Describe some of the features of Quick Pay Jackpots?

Quick Pay Jackpots is an external Jackpot mechanic and game that can be attached to any existing game in the IGT portfolio. To keep things simple, we have selected 7 games in North America and 4 games in EMEA for the jackpot to launch with, but more can be added at a later date. Customers can choose any or all of the games with the Quick Pay Jackpot, but more games mean more players and more players means the Jackpots will hit quicker.

Quick Pay Jackpots has its own appealing display console that has been designed to work in conjunction with the game and its features. It has elements such as Jackpot tickers, win messaging and near-miss excitement. When a player triggers the Jackpot game, the Quick Pay Jackpot has an exciting ‘pick me’ bonus that allows players to find the gems and reveal their Jackpot win.

Why will Quick Pay Jackpots be interesting to customers?

Quick Pay Jackpots is different from existing Jackpot products in the market. Its unique mechanics avoid the need for time dependency triggers and also manage to offer something different to the more traditional jackpot offerings. The rapid hitting nature of the prizes provides several marketing opportunities for our customers to their players, whilst the diversity and selection of games that can be added to the Quick Pay Jackpots, ensures that it will appeal to a wide demographic. Built in player retention is achieved through the console visuals and messaging surrounding jackpot amounts and wins.

How can customers market Quick Pay Jackpots to players?

Real time jackpot tickers along with the rapid hitting nature of the Jackpots should provide appeal to players, plenty of winners and lots of marketing opportunities for our customers.

How are Quick Pay Jackpots different/similar to other progressive jackpots?

Unlike other progressive jackpots, the probability of winning the jackpot is shared across all players currently playing any of the attached games, and not based on the player’s individual probability when a jackpot is integrated into the game

How do you think Quick Pay Jackpots will complement the games it will be compatible with?

Rather than try and design something that is seamlessly integrated into each and every host game’s theme, we decided to design the Quick Pay Jackpots with its own specific theme and branding. By taking this route, it enables players to try all of the different games attached to the Quick Pay Jackpots whilst always experiencing a consistent game experience from the Quick Pay Jackpot itself. The console plays an important role in keeping the two game designs separate without completely decoupling the experience, with the built-in functionality between host game and Quick Pay Jackpot creating a seamless orchestration ensuring a smooth gaming experience.
