Big Year - End for BetConnections

(San Lorenzo - SoloAzar Exclusive) - The year 2023 was full of great challenges for the BS2B service development and product integration company BetConnections. Our media wanted to know how it was this year and what it has in store for the company in 2024. We interviewed its CEO, Jesús Rafael Campos, who tells us about these developments.

What was the progress of BetConnections during 2023?

BetConnections has experienced significant and sustained growth in our industry. We have established ourselves as a platform, gaming and technology provider that competes in an elite reserved for large corporations and multinationals. We have consolidated our services and have achieved a leading position that places us among the most prominent in our segment. Throughout 2023, we made more than 20 new agreements with leading firms, expanding our portfolio day by day, which we can say is one of the most complete and varied globally.

Our technology team has received important additions, both in the technical area and in the entry of highly qualified and experienced personnel, which have given us a great boost in our projects and have consolidated our entry into new markets. Now, our services have powerful artificial intelligence tools that allow us to offer our clients the most advanced technology, giving them advantages over their competitors.

We have started to register as providers in important regulated scenarios such as Peru, Paraguay, Argentina, Chile, Dominican Republic, Bahamas, and soon we will do so in Colombia and Puerto Rico. We have also strengthened cooperation ties with regulators in these regions and we contribute our experience to operators and governments who, in a permanent synergy, consult us and exchange experiences.

What is BetConnections' roadmap for international events in 2024?

International events have grown at the same pace as the industry, and new markets are now opening up. All of this means that our commercial efforts will be accompanied by new inroads. This year, we will be present at the most important events in our region and we will be making our second foray into Europe.

We will start our international route on 6 February in London, at one of the world's leading exhibitions, ICE, where we hope to close important deals that are already underway. Then, from the 5th to the 7th of SGC Brazil, we will be sponsors in Rio de Janeiro.

We will participate in the SAGSE Buenos Aires exhibition, where we will have a booth and we will expand our services with the launch of KINGBOX PLUS at international level, with the most important certifications of laboratories worldwide.

Subsequently, we will be present at Gat Cartagena with business rounds and at the BIS exhibition, from 23 to 26 April, with an important booth. On 28th and 29th May, we will be present in Santiago de Chile, passing on to the Peru Gaming Show on 12th and 13th June, where we will be one of the main sponsors and will have a prominent booth. 

In August, from 9-11 August, we will be at SAGSE Miami for business meetings. In the following months, we will present our products and establish business relationships at events such as SBC Portugal (24-26 September), G2E Las Vegas (7-10 October), SBC Miami (5-7 November), CGS Brazil (4 November), GAT - Cancun (27-28 November).

So it will be a year full of emotions and new goals for our company, which will not cease to surprise.

What launches are in store for 2024 and what do you expect to present as new products?

We have several departments working at a technological level in the areas of IT security, means of payment, new suppliers, and now we have the exclusive distribution of important products and services that well-known companies have entrusted us with. 

Our sales and commercial departments will be in charge of taking their brands to the highest level in specific territories. This news fills us with happiness because these companies have recognised that BetConnections is not only a highly reliable company in its technical and technological processes, but that we also know how to provide an important commercial coverage and a wonderful after-sales service, which has been a trademark since the beginning of our operations.

What were the highlights of 2023 (in terms of events, trade fairs, products, technologies, etc.)?

The highlights of two thousand and twenty-three have been to participate in our first exhibition in Europe, SBC Barcelona, where we closed important agreements with high-level companies and suppliers, we started the certification processes for protocols with GLI 19 and GLI 33 with the BMM laboratory.

Then we incorporated more than twenty suppliers to our portfolio and two new payment gateways.

What are the latest trends in the gaming industry and how is the firm positioned to take advantage of these trends during 2024?

The latest trends in gaming are coming in several aspects, mainly we have added new technology with artificial intelligence, which allows us to do more in-depth management and analysis, in a faster and more effective way. We have incorporated new staff, professionals with experience in the area of technology, new languages, in terms of security, control and supervision, power of analysis on management results of our customers and alerts to risky events with high risk bets. We also initiated new CRM services, marketing and advertising campaigns to position a large part of our portfolio.

In the latest gaming trends for live sports betting, we have added new systems, new tools that allow us to have a much wider offer, also the success of 2023 on crash games and accumulator games, then we bring a surprise for 2024 as they are the subject of tournaments, with a Tournament system for players that promises to be a great success for its structure.

We are going to launch several equestrian games, we consolidate the international signature with our first agreement with a racecourse, in this case the Jockey Club of Paraguay, with which we signed an agreement to activate their systems.

What are the expectations for the gaming industry in 2024 (on new regulations, new technologies, etc.)?

The expectations for 2024 continue to be to consolidate our position in Latin American markets, take advantage of the certification process to enter regulated markets, the development of new games, the implementation of exclusive distribution for several territories of large and powerful suppliers that have trusted us to distribute their products exclusively in several countries.

What strategies and projects do you have for the coming year (regarding new product launches, new markets, etc.)?

In 2024 we will be implementing and developing an even more efficient and deeper commercial power, because partners and suppliers have seen in Betconnections the seriousness and after sales attention and the ability we have to commercially conquer new territories.
