Eduardo Aching, alongside the company team, shared insights with SoloAzar on the expansion in Latin America, brand recognition in Brazil, and expectations for the region’s growing iGaming market.

BOMBERMAN BLAST, a Konami new iGaming release that shone in SBC Summit Rio

Konami showcased its iGaming offering through Konami Online Interactive during the 2026 SBC Summit Rio. “Our owned Remote Gaming Server (RGS) gives iGaming operators access to proven popular casino slots, in markets across the world including Brazil. Konami’s two biggest differentiators are its global brand recognition as an iconic entertainment company, and its library of player-favorite casino slots, beloved for over 20 years. One new iGaming release that highlights this brilliantly is BOMBERMAN BLAST. In addition to being inspired by Konami’s legendary BOMBERMAN video games, BOMBERMAN BLAST is a hit slot game found in today’s land-based casinos in Las Vegas and beyond," Eduardo Aching said in Q&A with SoloAzar.


 

Great opportunities for Konami team 

“Konami’s iGaming team made a big appearance at SBC Rio, with myself, Leonardo Sosa, Alfredo Cuadra, and Fabian Carrion present to serve current and prospective customers across Latin America. The opportunities focused on bringing more games from Konami Online Interactive to more iGaming operators and their players.”

When asked about future market scenario, he answered: “Konami slots have been live in Brazil for over 6 months, through Konami Online Interactive’s robust RGS. Early results are promising. Konami and its iGaming customers in Brazil are well-positioned for long-term growth in the market.”


 

Strong brand recognition in Brazil for Konami

Guests at SBC Rio showed a great deal of interest and curiosity about Konami’s presence at the event. Konami’s exhibit attracted strong notice, in part because of the relationships our iGaming team has started building with Brazilian iGaming operators. But also because of Konami’s strong brand recognition. We are fortunate to have an existing brand presence in Brazil through highly popular consumer entertainment by the digital entertainment division of KONAMI GROUP CORP. The Konami brand carries strong recognition in Brazil, and is associated with high-quality products and exceptional content, " he declared.

Near future expectations

“In the coming months, we can expect continued growth in reach and revenue for Brazil’s regulated iGaming market," he concluded.
