2 minutos de lectura
(Espelkamp, SoloAzar Exclusive) .– Following a landmark year of acquisitions and leadership transitions, Merkur’s Dominik Raasch reveals how the group is leveraging global synergies to elevate the brand’s position at ICE Barcelona and beyond.
¨2025 marked a pivotal year for the Merkur Group, defined by strategic restructuring and renewed momentum. A generational leadership transition enabled us to realign our organisational setup, sharpen our market position, and form a highly effective, future-focused Management Board. Across Merkur Games, we integrated our R&D operations, streamlined development processes, and consolidated B2B activities to enhance agility and decision-making,¨ Raasch remarked.
Scaling Merkur global presence International expansion was one of the year’s most important achievements, according to Raasch. ¨Gaining the Nevada licence, completing the acquisition of Gaming Arts, and taking a significant stake in Spintec marked major milestones that considerably strengthened our global footprint and technological capabilities.¨
These developments were highlighted by strong trade fair appearances, most recently at G2E Las Vegas, where the company presented an expanded and increasingly international Merkur portfolio.
¨What truly defined 2025, however, was the spirit of our employees. Their openness to change and enthusiasm for innovation enabled us to successfully execute complex transformation projects.¨
Merkur: Completely redesigned appearance at ICE 2026
¨In 2026, our Group will continue its trajectory of international growth and organisational transformation. We will begin the year with a major highlight: a completely redesigned appearance at ICE. Our new exhibition concept will showcase a vibrant, experience-driven presentation of the Merkur world, including innovations in slots, hardware, ETGs from Spintec, cash-handling solutions from GeWeTe, and our online and platform brands.¨
Merkur 2026: Strengthening Global Synergies and B2B Integration
¨Strategically, we will accelerate the initiatives launched in 2025: strengthening global structures, deepening the integration of Gaming Arts and Spintec, and advancing our internationalisation. The further development of our unified B2B organisation will improve speed, collaboration, and customer orientation. On the product side, we will continue focusing on technologically advanced, market-tailored gaming content. Synergies across our global studios will enable even more diversified and regionally optimised game portfolios. Our overarching goal is clear: to grow sustainably, expand our international presence, and further elevate Merkur’s position as a leading global gaming provider – rooted locally, connected worldwide, and committed to outstanding entertainment,¨ Raasch concluded.
