(Barcelona, SoloAzar Exclusive). Following his participation in ICE Barcelona 2026, Tomás Galarza, a Political Science graduate and foreign trade expert at ASAP, shares his insights on global trends, international business opportunities, and the company's strategic priorities for this year.

Tomás Galarza: "This edition of ICE was especially relevant for ASAP"

To begin with, how would you assess your participation in ICE Barcelona 2026, both in terms of the exhibition and business opportunities?

"ICE was a great opportunity to reconnect with clients and colleagues from different segments of the gaming industry. As happens every year, these trade shows not only allow us to discover new machines and meet new teams, but ICE—being the first major trade show of the year—also serves as a key space to put the foreign trade landscape in the region into context. In particular, it allowed us to analyze the situation of markets where ASAP operates actively, such as Argentina, Colombia, Peru, and the United States, while also addressing the region as a whole at the start of the year".

How do you evaluate the quality of the audience and the profile of the contacts generated during the event?

"This edition of ICE was especially relevant for ASAP, as we perceived a strong interest in Argentina. Many contacts - some of whom had not historically operated in the country - showed increasing interest in understanding the current economic and political situation, and do not rule out starting operations in Argentina in the short term".

From your perspective, which trends or discussions seen at ICE Barcelona 2026 will shape the industry in the short and medium term?

"As online gaming continues to gain prominence, it is interesting to see how market leaders are moving toward digital segments or incorporating new technologies to attract younger audiences. We believe that solutions such as machines connected to live studios or equipment that integrates online games respond directly to this new demand".

Strategic Priorities

What are the company's main strategic priorities for this year?

"Our priority is to ensure that our clients have as much information as possible to make informed and well-founded decisions about their operations in the region. At ASAP, we understand that operations do not begin or end with foreign trade: we aim to provide comprehensive advice to those involved at every stage of the operation, from planning to execution".

Finally, do you plan to enter new markets or strengthen your presence in key jurisdictions during 2026?

"At ASAP, we have always been committed to the gaming sector. If that means operating in a context shaped by new trends, technologies, and segments, we are prepared to learn, adapt, and ensure that we are up to the level of the operations and the specific needs of each of our clients".
