BiS SIGMA Americas: Dan Stone of inplaySoft tells everything about the event
⏱ 2 min read
(São Paulo, SoloAzar Exclusive).- After the fervor of the four intense days of BiS SIGMA at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo, Dan Stone, Marketing Director at inplaySoft, explains how important the event was to the company. Besides, He reflects on how significant the Brazilian and Latin American markets are for inplaySoft.
How would you evaluate the attendance and interest of the public who visited your booth?
It was a strong event, as we had fantastic interest and many discussions with operators looking for the right casino and sportsbook platform for their players . For us though, we’re always wanting more with everything, we like to keep busy, whether that’s on an event stand or behind the scenes working on more enhancements for our customers.
Did you manage to generate strategic contacts or close any business deals during the event?
You want me to tell you our secrets? Ha of course I’m not going to tell everything – our customers are more than that, they are partners and we respect them a great deal . When we have discussions with contacts who are not yet partners, we treat them in the same way . What I will say is that we’re extremely pleased with the discussions we had with significant industry stakeholders at the event – and that you should keep your eyes open to find out more!

How would you compare BIS SiGMA with other gaming industry trade shows you have participated in?
Ooh, now that is a tricky question . Difficult to compare , as each event in our industry seems to serve a slightly different purpose and you see different faces at different locations and at different times. Speaking of location, BiS SiGMA Americas being in São Paulo worked well for us – a lot of our team are in São Paulo and Brazil is so important for us, so that was a plus.
The importance of the Brazilian Market
Do you think BIS SiGMA 2025 helped strengthen the gaming industry in Latin America?
Quite simply, yes! Any format that brings together a range of iGaming minds, of all levels, of all functions, for open discussion and networking – that has to be good for our industry. There’s just so much going on within Latin America, not just Brazil, that events like this are so valuable for exploring the latest developments in key areas such as regulation, responsible gaming, KYC and AML… not to mention how we as providers can continue to develop even better solutions for our operator customers and for their players . And we prefer face-to-face – it works so well, doesn’t it?
Do you plan to participate again next year? Why?
We do. Why? It’s a great event to meet people, to get some time to talk with iGaming operators who are looking for something different, something more for their players and their business growth . And we enjoy seeing the friendly faces of our partners – that is our operator customers, our suppliers and of course our media friends!
