(Belgrade, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Merkur Gaming shines with innovation and international engagement at the Future Gaming Belgrade 2024 event. Borivoje Rajšić, Sales Director at Merkur Gaming Serbia, shared insights into the event's success, their objectives, and the enthusiastic reception of their latest innovations.
How was your experience at the event?
Honestly, our experience has been even more positive than we initially expected. The Future Gaming Belgrade is considered one of the most important trade fairs in the Balkans and yet in previous years it was more locally orientated. But this year, we were able to welcome a considerable number of international visitors to our booth and impress them of our content and cabinet innovations. In my opinion, Future Gaming Belgrade 2024 was the most visited and therefore most successful event in recent years.
What were the specific goals you had set for this event and how were they achieved?
Of course, our primary aim was to convince visitors of our products, especially our numerous innovations. In addition, we were particularly keen to take a look into the future together with our customers and show them the direction in which our products will develop in the coming years. The intensive and exciting discussions with the attendees proved that we were completely successful in this and were able to arouse their interest.
How would you describe the reception of your product/service among the visitors?
For us, the development of new products always goes hand in hand with extensive market analyses. We look at various trends as well as preferences and incorporate these into our new products. The positive feedback and, as already mentioned, the intensive exchange about our products prove that we are completely successful in this. With our new multigame package M-Prime, our new Linked Progressives Link Zone Lounge and Link Zone Rush and our latest cabinet innovation Mod Ex, we have brought products to the trade fair floor that have received positive feedback from the very first customer contact.
Which of the products you exhibited do you think generated the most interest and why?
This was undoubtedly our new Mod Ex cabinet, which impresses above all with its unprecedented modularity. The monitor as well as the console and the base can be freely configured according to the customer's needs and preferences. The positive response at previous trade fairs was repeated at Future Gaming Belgrade and once again confirms that we have struck a chord with customers through this innovative cabinet.
Did the show meet your expectations in terms of showcasing and lead generation?
Definitely! The trade fair in Belgrade is one of the most significant and important events for Merkur Gaming Serbia on the domestic market. Accordingly, we have been working towards this trade fair for a long time and have invested a considerable amount of our energy and resources, making it a particular success and a real highlight of our business year. And we even succeeded in beating our expected results.
Would you like to share any success stories or outstanding results from your participation?
I would describe the entire trade fair as a success. But the presentation of our new cabinets deserves special mention, because this year we were able to celebrate two premieres simultaneously with the Zonic and the Mod Ex. Both cabinets turned out to be real crowd pullers, which is an incredible achievement for the first presentation and further evidence that the company has perfectly met customer tastes with these product developments.
What are the next events you will be participating in this year?
Next on the agenda for us is the phenomenal Merkur Group industry summit in August. The event is particularly valuable for exchanging ideas with colleagues from the Group's subsidiaries and finding out about new products for the German domestic market as well as international markets. In November, we will be travelling to Sofia as usual to present our portfolio to our Eastern European customers at BEGE. The trade fair is a real enrichment every year and has therefore become a permanent fixture in our trade fair calendar over the past few decades.
