(London, SoloAzar Exclusive).- SoloAzar interviewed Merkur Gaming's Chief Executive International Athanasios "Sakis" Isaakidis at recent ICE London, where the company unveiled important novelties and received overwhelmingly positive feedback on its new and innovative products.
What novelties have you presented at the last edition of ICE in London?
On the content side, we presented, among others, the two Linked Progressives, Link Wave and Clash Link at ICE. Both jackpot systems have garnered significant acclaim from trade show attendees, particularly for their nerve-wracking features and unique mechanics. Equally well received was our new multigame package M-Prime, which impressed with its top-notch gaming content. In the cabinet sector, we introduced a true highlight to the exhibition floor this year: the Mod Ex. This new cabinet, with its self-configurable monitor, body, and base, can be flexibly tailored to the needs of both customers and players, making it a true standout. Also new to the cabinet portfolio is another variant of the popular and successful Zonic cabinet: the Zonic Curved.
Could you describe how was your presence at the firm's booth in ICE?
The ICE 2024 was a tremendous success for us. The most compelling evidence of this was, of course, the overwhelmingly positive feedback on our new and innovative products. On top of that, we see the enormous rush of visitors to our exhibition booth and the extended time spent engaging with our devices as further validation of our successful presence at the trade show. We are excited to commence planning for ICE 2025 in Barcelona already, aiming to make our presence even more spectacular and captivating.

In commercial terms, what is your evaluation? Did you achieve the goals proposed? Did new collaborations or business alliances emerge?
As we all witnessed, this year's ICE in London brought us an all-time high number of visitors. We encountered many people from around the globe. What we can share so far is that people are eagerly exploring new products and innovations, and most importantly, they are receptive to investments. Therefore, we departed London with smiles on our faces.
What aspect can you highlight about the changes and the future of the industry? How is the company preparing for it?
Over the years, we've observed a strong demand to offer our solutions not just for specific segments, but as an omni-solution. We have noticed significant changes in regulations worldwide, as well as the evolving preferences of different generations on how to spend their leisure time. As a group of companies, we are committed to staying abreast of trends and technologies to meet our clients' needs.

When talking about new trends, Do you use artificial intelligence for your products, services or user-experience?
This will develop over time. We recognize the importance of incorporating AI into our future development plans. Personally, I believe that the introduction of the new Apple Vision Pro glasses could represent a significant milestone, potentially revolutionizing our industry.

What aspects can you highlight from the last edition in London? And how are you preparing for Barcelona 2025?
We anticipate a significantly higher number of visitors at ICE 2025. To provide them with an excellent trade show experience at Merkur World, it is necessary to redesign the booth for Barcelona. We are expanding noticeably to ensure all our products have an adequate stage and to properly assist and guide our visitors through our booth. In addition to spacious exhibition areas, we are planning additional spaces designed to invite attendees to exchange ideas and linger in a pleasant atmosphere.
