(Cancun).- Gaming & Technology Expo prepares its debut in the vibrant city of Cancun from November 26 to 28, 2024. The event promises to bring together the great community of gaming industry professionals from Mexico, Central America and South America, offering a unique platform for training, exhibition of technological innovations and networking in the first beach destination in the Mexican Republic.

The Latin American gaming industry will meet at GAT Caribe Cancún

To carry out GAT Caribe Cancún, the organizers have reached an alliance with AIEJA, Association of the Entertainment and Gambling Industry in Mexico, an entity chaired by Miguel Ángel Ochoa. AIEJA will hold its year-end General Assembly on November 26 within the framework of this innovative event, which will be attended by all its members representing casino groups, manufacturers, suppliers, online platforms and related business partners.

GAT Caribe Cancún will place special emphasis on emerging online casino trends, currently booming, sports betting and electronic sports, sectors that are experiencing unstoppable growth and transforming the digital entertainment industry. High-speed internet access has popularized these games in Mexico, offering a market of more than 80 million people technological availability to play or bet from mobile devices. Online casinos have increased the social acceptance of gambling, which is encouraging greater entry of international operators into the market, as Mexican players access a variety of gaming platforms without significant restrictions.

In Mexico, the regulatory entity for the sector is the Ministry of the Interior through its General Directorate of Games and Sweepstakes. Currently, there are more than 230 physical casinos operating in the country, and a regulatory improvement is expected to activate their growth with greater legal certainty. Manufacturers and suppliers of casino machines that decide to be exhibitors with a stand at GAT Caribe Cancún will be able to count on the benefits offered by the Ministry of Economy of Mexico for the temporary import of machines and equipment exempt from taxes, a management carried out by the organization. The Gaming & Technology Expo organization has launched a venture into the Mexican market at the Cancún Center fairgrounds, a large venue that has 14,000 square meters of exhibition and conference rooms. Progress is being made in defining alliances in general production, logistics, customs and hospitality for clients and visitors.

The marketing and sales processes for GAT Caribe Cancún are moving at a very good pace, bringing together corporate brands with businesses throughout Latin America, belonging to a strengthened ecosystem with bases of operation in several jurisdictions on the continent and goals to access new markets.

Pragmatic Play does not cease its dizzying progress in Latam and this is how it has once again taken the lead as Premium Sponsor of GAT Caribe Cancún. Another outstanding Sponsor is BetConstruct that will make its brand shine in the Platinum category. Amusnet, Cactus Gaming, Betconnections, Oklahoma, BYA Group, Fast Track, have also secured their places at the exhibition. In the coming days, the arrival of half a dozen more exhibitors with whom contracts are being closed will be announced.

José Aníbal Aguirre, CEO GAT, comments: “We have found extraordinary interest in the project and enthusiasm from brands and traditional clients of GAT events who have confirmed their participation, presence and support in the general programming, which will have conferences and panels absolutely pertinent to the moment that the industry is experiencing in the country and in the region, in an academic day with regulatory and technological updates. The collaboration of AIEJA allows me to predict the total success of GAT Caribe Cancún in its academic component and in the exhibition in stands in a location equipped with all the conditions for a high-rise commercial exhibition. In our networking, all attendees will be able to share the flavor of Mexico and its culture, while they manage to do business, gain knowledge, and make new partners and friends.”
