(Sao Paulo, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Randall Lacayo, Sales Manager at Uplatform granted an interview to SoloAzar about Uplatform presence in the Sigma Americas, held from 14 to 18 June in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Mr. Randall pointed out that it was the first time the firm had attended this event, and that its presence allowed them to complete part of the company’s expansion goal in the Latam market.

During the interview made exclusive by SoloAzar, Mr. Randall Lacayo, the sales manager at Uplatform highlighted the outstanding performance of the team during the 5 days of the show, and the excellent feedback from the public. He also emphasized that Uplatform continues adapting its sports betting platform according to the requirements of each local market and that the presence of the firm achieved to obtain information about the Brazilian market and its future regulations.

How did you experience the five days of the tradeshow and what innovations did you present?

Participating in Sigma Americas was an extraordinary experience for our team, marking our inaugural presence at an event of such scale in the Americas. This exhibition proved to be a pivotal platform, granting us invaluable insights into the market dynamics and upcoming regulatory landscape. 

Moreover, it served as a catalyst for forging stronger connections with esteemed industry experts, prospective partners, and clients. Leveraging this opportunity, we effectively showcased Uplatform's cutting-edge offerings and successfully established our foothold in the flourishing Latam market.

Throughout the event, our booth remained abuzz with activity as our team engaged in compelling conversations with attendees who displayed immense interest in our betting and casino solutions. 

The vibrant atmosphere and steady stream of visitors reaffirmed our conviction that Uplatform is effectively catering to the evolving needs and expectations of the iGaming industry.

What were the topics that most caught your attention during the event?

One of the most captivating topics that grabbed our attention during the event was the overwhelming demand among Brazilians to establish their own sportsbook and casino services. 

It became evident that there is a strong desire within the country to operate and engage in iGaming activities, and numerous prominent companies are eagerly positioning themselves to be the pioneers in this race. 

The enthusiasm and determination showcased by industry players to tap into the Brazilian market left a lasting impression on us.

Considering that in Brazil, gambling is not yet regularized, what are the company's perspectives on this debate?

Our primary focus for this year lies in the Latin American market, driven by the encouraging shifts in the legal landscape and the promising prospects of the region as a whole. We are delighted to announce that we have already made successful inroads into multiple countries within the region, offering our top-notch sports betting solution. The participation in SiGMA Americas played a pivotal role in establishing a solid foundation for forging robust partnerships with key local providers in the area.

It was evident that some of these providers were already operating in Brazil within the gray area, while others were actively exploring their options to ensure preparedness. During the event, a significant number of potential operators expressed keen interest in our comprehensive platform, inquiring about pricing and discussing their future requirements. The demand for extensive solutions further validated our belief in the growing potential of the Latin American market.

Why are you interested in the Brazilian market and what are your company's plans for the Brazilian market?

Latin America presents a multifaceted landscape, and Uplatform has showcased its adeptness in skillfully maneuvering through these intricacies. We have diligently ensured that our sportsbook solution aligns with the specific requirements of each local market, granting our partners the assurance and capability to thrive in their operations.

With its vast potential, the Brazilian market holds a position of prominence within the LATAM region. It is poised to become the leading market once regulations are in place. Given the sheer magnitude of this opportunity, our company is actively seeking a strategic partnership with a reliable and capable entity that can assist us in efficiently operating and capitalizing on this colossal market. Our objective is to find a partner who can navigate the intricacies of the Brazilian market alongside us, enabling us to fully exploit its immense potential.

Can you tell us about your plans for expansion in Latin America?

Our primary objective is to establish direct sportsbook agreements with operators in the Latin American market, while concurrently enhancing brand recognition. To achieve this, we are committed to charting new paths and embracing innovation. 

Our focus lies in introducing fresh and captivating products, and in collaboration with our partners, we will diligently educate players about the unique advantages offered by our solutions.

Undoubtedly, Sigma Americas will play a pivotal role in raising awareness about our brand, showcasing our comprehensive range of offerings, and highlighting the quality of our services. We eagerly anticipate engaging in fruitful networking opportunities and exploring exciting new projects that lie ahead in our pipeline.
