“In recent years, the Dominican Republic is one of the countries that has implemented new games and technology with a view to the future in the field of gambling” explains Jose García but highlights that they face challenges such as “unfair competition, as well as the inclusion of “Unregulated companies affecting growth, development and stability.”
How do you perceive the impact of regulation on the growth of the sector in the Caribbean?
The regularization of the market has been a great challenge, and some sectors have created rules that are not regulated, nor authorized by the companies in charge of the gambling market.

How have you seen the interaction with attendees and what type of feedback have you received at the show?
Very good acceptance, since national gaming companies have supported this fair with the purpose of sharing and acquiring new knowledge in games of chance. These create new expectations for us, as well as the business relationship with other companies.
Finally, what do you think about the business opportunities that the Dominican Republic offers for the gaming industry?
Regardless of the factors that may exist, the Dominican Republic is one of the countries that guarantees any type or modality of games for the company that intends to invest in this market.
