(Cancún, SoloAzar Exclusive).- Pedro Gallego addressed a hot topic of which he is a specialist, such as AI and its use in games of chance. “The future is going to be driven by artificial intelligence,” he explained.

GAT Caribe Cancún 2024: everything about Artificial Intelligence Applied to Games of Chance

To begin this conference, one of the many that took place at GAT Caribe 2024 Cancun, Pedro Gallego, AI Cybersecurity Specialist explained that “Artificial intelligence is a topic that is changing the world. Not only is the way of working in the gaming sector changing. From the generation of content and personalized experiences, it offers unprecedented opportunities that we have not seen until now.”

What is Artificial Intelligence?

Gallego then explained that “Artificial intelligence is nothing more than the ability of machines to perform tasks that normally require human intelligence. "It does not replace human creativity as such, but it does help to improve it and enhance it greatly."

And he then added: “Of course it requires a large amount of data to be functional and to be able to perform it, so that it can do its job in a comfortable way. 83% of companies already consider artificial intelligence as a priority within their companies. Companies like Netflix are even already working on creating videos on demand. That means you're going to go to Netflix and say I want a romantic comedy with Bruce Willis and Sandra Bullock in Paris in the '60s, because that's when I got married at that time. And it will generate a hit and a movie just for you.”

The advancement of AI

Gallego then highlighted that “It took 70 months for Uber to reach 100 million users, 55 months to Spotify and 54 months to Facebook, however, it took only 2 months for ChatGPT and it will reach our competition. Other companies, other sectors are going to adopt it and now we will see why. Of course the future is going to be driven by artificial intelligence.”

Virtual games and slots

In addition, Gallego explained that, regarding games of chance, both in virtual games and slots, AI allows a personalized and fast experience with the help of a virtual assistant and added that "Artificial intelligence has the ability to personalize the game for that specific player." the type of game that you think suits you best and the one that you think will be most productive. Of course, improving satisfaction and adapting to the need.”

The dark side of AI

However, the conference warned that “not everything is nice  in artificial intelligence. We also have problems: security risks". He highlighted that “I can perfectly use artificial intelligence to create false profiles on Internet to manipulate content, to make a betting house with an operator, with a provider, to modify the odds. And I can also do it massively.”

“There is also the ethical challenge. These problems with artificial intelligence, because they can also use it against us, we are going to have them. Artificial intelligence is like the nuclear bomb,” he added.

As a closing

“What is our vision at Mobadoo?  We are committed to always offering our clients the latest technologies to differentiate themselves in a competitive way. We always try to be at the forefront seeing what is happening, how it is offered, how it is being done. And, of course, we are always open to alliances and collaborations, in which I encourage anyone who has an idea of a problem that they want to solve with artificial intelligence and does not know how, to approach the company.”

Finally, he explained “Who will be left out of all this? Well, two types of companies. Those who resist change and those who try to change but don't know how to do it. Because in the end your competition will have an advantage, it will reduce waiting time, it will have better marketing campaigns, it will give you better promotions at better times, it will have a more personalized service for your user, so in the end this is renew or die.”
