Michigan iGaming and Sports Betting Revenue Hits Record $352,3M in October 2025

(Detroit).- Michigan’s internet gaming and sports betting operators generated $352.3 million in October 2025, marking a 16.4% month-over-month increase and setting a new iGaming revenue record.

Michigan iGaming and Sports Betting Revenue Hits Record $352,3M in October 2025

 Michigan’s commercial and tribal online gaming operators reported a combined $352.3 million in gross receipts from iGaming and online sports betting in October, reflecting a 16.4% increase over September.

Record-Breaking iGaming Revenue

iGaming gross receipts reached $278.5 million, setting a new all-time high for the state. The previous record of $263.3 million was set in August 2025.
Online sports betting gross receipts totaled $73.8 million, up significantly from $43.6 million in September.

Adjusted Gross Receipts (AGR)

Combined AGR for October hit $310.9 million, including:

$261.7 million from iGaming, a 7.5% increase from September

$49.2 million from sports betting, up $36.0 million month-over-month

Year over year, iGaming AGR increased 31.8%, while sports betting AGR rose $39.4 million compared to October 2024.

Sports Betting Handle

Michigan’s online sports betting handle reached $605.9 million, up 15.6% from September’s $524.3 million.

State Taxes and Payments

Operators submitted $58.0 million in state taxes and fees in October, including:

$54.6 million from iGaming

$3.4 million from online sports betting

City of Detroit Payments

Detroit’s three commercial casinos reported $15.0 million in wagering taxes and municipal service fees, including:

$14.0 million from iGaming

$1.0 million from sports betting

Tribal Operator Contributions

Michigan tribal operators reported $6.5 million in payments to their governing bodies in October.

As of October 2025, 15 commercial and tribal operators are authorized for online gaming and/or sports betting in Michigan, with 11 offering sports betting and 14 offering iGaming. Individual operator performance figures are available on the MGCB website.
