Montenegro’s Games of Chance Sector Sees Strong Revenue Growth

(Podgorica).– Revenues from games of chance and prize competitions reached €31.18 million in the first nine months of the year, marking a 28.63% increase compared to the same period last year, according to the Games of Chance Administration.

Montenegro’s Games of Chance Sector Sees Strong Revenue Growth

In September alone, revenues totaled €5.21 million, up 55.72% year-on-year, the Administration reported in a press release.

Breaking down revenues by game type:

Online and telecommunications-based games of chance led the market with €11.4 million, a 32.02% increase from last year.

Casino games generated around €6 million, reflecting a growth of 55.27%.

Sports betting revenues reached €7.7 million, up 8.13% year-on-year.

Slot machine clubs contributed €6.03 million, a 31.87% increase compared to the previous year.

The figures highlight strong growth across Montenegro’s gaming sector, driven by online platforms, casino operations, and sports betting, signaling a robust performance in the first nine months of 2025.
