SB Nation and DraftKings launch DraftKings Nation

(New York).- Vox Media’s SB Nation, the largest independent sports media brand, and DraftKings, the global sports technology and entertainment company, announced a multi-year editorial and technology partnership, DraftKings Nation. The property will have an immediate focus on the 2019 NFL season with plans to expand quickly to cover the NBA, NCAA football and basketball, along with MLB and other sports.

“Over the past decade, SB Nation has honed a unique ability to engage massive fan communities while Vox Media’s innovative technology platforms, Chorus and Concert, have accelerated that growth,” said Jim Bankoff, Chairman and CEO, Vox Media. “Now, in partnership with DraftKings, we have combined our editorial vision and expertise, paired with our technology capabilities to serve passionate sports fans in this fast-growing area.”


DraftKings Nation combines SB Nation’s community-building prowess with DraftKings’ deep insights into how fans engage with and immerse themselves in the sports they love. In the coming months, as the newsroom expands, DraftKings Nation will provide original content, key insights, analysis and lifestyle coverage from all angles of daily fantasy and sports betting.
