(Las Vegas).- The global audience of the Super Bowl had 200 million viewers, 115 million of them on television, according to the NFL. The longest Super Bowl game will also go down as the most-watched program in television history. Because of this, their ads are the most expensive in the market. A commercial broadcast from Israel lasting approximately 31 seconds cost 7,200,000 dollars, about 200,000 dollars per second.
On Sunday 11 February, a new edition of the NFL's final game took place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The AFC conference champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, hosted the NFC conference champions, the San Francisco 49ers, and took home the Vince Lombardi Trophy after winning in overtime.
Tickets to the stadium where the event took place cost an average of $8,900. In addition, 68 million Americans placed bets on the match, roughly a quarter of the country's population. These bets have resulted in a payout of 23.1 billion dollars.
The winners of this year's edition were the Kansas City Chiefs who took the Vince Lombardi Trophy after beating the San Francisco 49ers in overtime. They become the first team in 19 years to win back-to-back titles, as well as winning three championships in just five years. The event featured an intermission concert by singer Usher, an artist with eight Grammy Awards and more than 80 million records sold.
In terms of prize money, the Kansas City Chiefs took home $157,000 in addition to their playoff winnings, leaving an estimated $115,000 per player. The San Francisco 49ers, meanwhile, have earned about half as much as the champions, $82,000.
