(Lima, Exclusive SoloAzar).- Joe López and Rubén Solórzano, authorities of the Affiliated Marketing Group business group and organizers of the Peru Gaming Show (PGS), spoke with SoloAzar days after the closing of the 20th edition of PGS and were satisfied with the result. “We had 50% more attendance on the first day and the conference was overcrowded to such an extent that the capacity of 400 people was not enough, forcing people to stand up to listen to the keynotes,” said Joe López.

Peru Gaming Show 2023 exceeded the expectations of visitors and exhibitors alike

What have been the challenges of this 20th 2023 edition of the event?

The main challenge we always set is that we want to surpass the previous year's achievement. Last year was a tremendous show so we didn't see it as easy to overcome, but we managed to get an excellent result. I think we exceed everyone's expectations, visitors and exhibitors alike. We had 50% more attendance on the first day and the conference was overcrowded to such an extent that the capacity of 400 people was not enough, forcing people to stand up to listen to the keynote talks.

Can you make a first evaluation about the show? Did it exceed your expectations? As organizing leaders, how do you feel about this?

We are more than satisfied with this year's results. The important thing is that the exhibitors and visitors are happy and from everything we hear, they are. An important aspect is that PGS was attended by the Vice Minister of Tourism and the General Director of Mincetur Gaming for the traditional ribbon cutting and conference.

In this edition, you added an exclusive day for networking: How has the public response been?

Everyone was very happy with the event. The atmosphere was beautiful and allowed an exchange between the participants in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Suppliers and operators participated exclusively, as well as the company of the Mincetur Gaming Director General.

What can you highlight in this edition?

The new law exhibited by the congress on remote gaming and sports gaming is the latest trend in Peru that has the interest of operators and potential companies that want to invest in the Peruvian market. At our conference we had several subject matter experts who presented their ideas and advice to the public on how to take advantage of these new opportunities.

Finally, the dates for 2024 are already confirmed. Is there anything you want to comment on/advance about it?

PGS 2024 will be on June 12 and 13 at the same location. We are already working to top this year's show and as always, we will try to top what we have already achieved. We are coordinating with our peers from other trade shows in the region to set dates that do not coincide, so this allows us to provide facilities to everyone. For now, PGS 2024 has a scheduled date.
